Due to the open-pored coating, the wood can breathe, and the penetration of moisture and the swelling or shrinking of wood are reduced. For refreshing, simply apply a thin coat.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe wood must be clean and dry. Clean old coatings or lightly sand them. For dark woods, noble woods, resinous and pigmented woods outdoors, allow them to weather for at least 4-8 weeks and be rained on at least once before the first treatment. For pressure-treated wood, allow at least 3 months.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStir the oil well before use. Natural decking oils are ready-to-use and should be applied undiluted. \u003cstrong\u003eIf possible, paint new wood outdoors on all sides.\u003c\/strong\u003e Apply in the direction of the grain (with a brush, sponge, foam roller, or spray gun) and spread well. After approx. 20-30 minutes, re-coat the surface with a dry brush.
