Description:
Classic BaseOil Color is a high-quality, high-solid parquet impregnating oil based on natural oils for coloring and impregnating wooden and parquet floors. The deeply penetrating oil emphasizes the natural wood structure and ensures a durable, open-pored surface.
The various color shades can be mixed with each other, allowing for individual color designs – from natural wood tones to modern gray, white, and black shades.

Application
Before application, lightly moisten the surface with water and allow it to dry completely.
The oil is repeatedly troweled "wet on wet" until the wood is saturated. After approx. 30 minutes of penetration time, excess oil must be completely removed, and the area polished with a white pad.
Absolutely avoid layer formation.
For improved hardening and durability, we recommend adding Berger-Seidle Classic Plus in a 10:1 ratio – especially for white and gray tones.
Drying
At approx. 23 °C and 50% humidity:
- carefully walkable after approx. 10–12 hours
- recoatable after approx. 24 hours
- full load-bearing capacity after approx. 8–14 days
Consumption
Depending on wood type, sanding, and joint pattern:
- approx. 20–50 g/m² for the first coat
- subsequent coats significantly less
