Master Colour Oil

Curing time: surface can be carefully walked on after 12-24 hours, fully cured after 5-7 days.

WOCA Master Floor Oil white is a fast-curing oil with a high solids content that can be applied both by machine and manually. Master Colour Oil is ideal for the initial treatment of new and untreated or freshly sanded wood. It penetrates deep into the pores of the wood and forms a water and dirt-repellent protective film on the wood surface - without preventing the wood from breathing. The wood thus retains its ability to positively influence the indoor climate. The wood is slightly lightened after treatment.

Apply the oil at a room and floor temperature between 15°C and 30°C. The temperature of the oil should also be within this range. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.

1. Lightly sand the untreated wood with sandpaper grit 100 to 120. Then clean the floor with a cleaning solution of 125 ml Intensive Cleaner and 5 liters of water. Only apply the oil when the floor is completely dry and free of grease and dirt. A wood moisture content of max. 12% is recommended.

3. Shake the container thoroughly before and during application. Mix containers with different batch numbers before use to avoid color differences. Then apply the oil evenly to a floor area of 5-10 m² with a short-pile paint roller.

3. Allow the oil to penetrate for 5-10 minutes. Apply more oil to dry areas.

4. Now polish the surface with a beige polishing pad under the pad holder. Alternatively, you can use a polishing machine. Polish until the floor surface appears even.

5. Place a cotton cloth under the pad to remove excess oil from the floor surface. Remove the oil gradually from the floor. No oil should remain on the surface.

6. After 6-8 hours, you can re-polish the floor with a small amount of Master Floor Oil. Use about 1 deciliter of oil per 15 m² of floor. Perform this treatment after curing and carefully polish the oil into the wood. Remove excess oil from the wood surface and clean tools with WOCA Oil Thinner.

7. After about 12 hours, the floor can be carefully walked on.

8. Do not wet clean the floor during the first 7 days, during the curing time.
